Statesboro-Bulloch’s assets include:

Rigor, Relevance and Relationships: those are the three R’s that inform the vision of the Bulloch County School System as it prepares students for the future. Hiring the best professionals and making strategic investments in facilities – including 16 new schools in the past 15 years – has produced measureable success with Title I Distinguished School awards, rising test scores and an “A Plus” Standard & Poor’s bond rating.

Ogeechee Technical College

Ogeechee Tech is one of Georgia’s fastest growing technical colleges. It has expanded from a small facility graduating nine practical nursing students in 1990 to a high-profile multi-building campus, where nearly 4,500 students pursue 34 degree programs. Even as Ogeechee Tech serves as a cornerstone of Bulloch County’s highly specialized workforce training, the school’s degree offerings provide opportunities across a broad range of fields, from healthcare to welding, from fire science to forensic science, from GIS to interpreter training.

East Georgia State College

At the new Bulloch satellite campus of East Georgia College, students have the opportunity to complete their Associate Degree transferrable toward the completion of a four-year degree at the main campus of East Georgia State, Georgia Southern University or any other four-year university.

Georgia Southern University

With an enrollment that tops 20,000 and rankings near the top of U.S. News & World Reports “America’s Best Colleges” and “Best Graduate Schools,” Forbes’ “America’s Best Colleges,” and Kiplinger’s “Top 100 Best Values among Public Colleges and Universities,” Georgia Southern combines quality and quantity, making 124 academic majors available in a comprehensive offering of baccalaureate degrees and master’s and doctoral programs. On the sports field, the university’s intercollegiate teams compete in the NCAA Division I and Southern Conference. Georgia Southern is a major contributor to the energetic, stimulating culture you’ll find in Statesboro and Bulloch County.
